Hiroo Financial Center to Close
December 9, 2013
Shinsei Bank, Limited
Tokyo (Monday, December 9, 2013) - Shinsei Bank would like to inform customers that its Hiroo Financial Center will cease operations on Friday, February 28, 2014. We would like to thank our customers for their patronage of this branch and apologize for any inconvenience the closure may cause. We would like to ask customers to use any of the other Shinsei Bank branches in conducting any future business transactions.
No changes will be made to customer cash cards, branch codes, or account numbers as a result of this closure. However, the branch name associated with customer accounts which were opened in the Hiroo branch will be changed to "Hiroo" in katakana effective Saturday, March 1, 2014 instead of "Hiroo" in kanji. This change is being made for internal operations purposes, and a physical Hiroo branch will not exist. Please note that the branch name of "Hiroo" or "Hiroo" in katakana must be specified for fund transfers to accounts that belonging to the Hiroo branch from Saturday, March 1, 2014. "Hiroo" in roman letters will continue to be a valid option when selecting the branch name.
