In order to further enhance security of the Internet banking, Shinsei PowerDirect Security Code Card has been introduced in Shinsei bank.
Have received but not yet registered your Security Code Card number?
Please register your card number to activate the card, because grid values written on the Security Code Card is necessary at every login.
"Skip" button prepared for the new login method transition has been deleted from the login screen since Tuesday, August 7, 2007. Please register your card number as soon as you receive your card.

1. To activate the new login procedure, please complete the initial registration
<Steps for the initial registration>
(1) Please enter your 10-digit account number, 4-digit PIN and PowerDirect Password, then press "Login".
(2) On the next screen, enter the 15-digit security code card number printed on the back of your Security Code Card (5-digits in each field).
Also, tick the checkbox to confirm that you have received the card in a non tempered condition.
The number is unique to each customer account and matched against your account ID.

(3) Click on "Next" and your Security Code Card initial registration will be completed.
2. At each login, please enter the value of the specified grid coordinates
<Steps for the new login>
(1) Enter your 10-digit account number, 4-digit PIN and PowerDirect Password.
(2) On the next, screen shown on the right will be shown. (If the initial registration is completed)
You will be asked to enter values (alphabet or numeric characters) from three different grid coordinates (i.e. "F3" "I1" "J0"), indicated in the grid image at the top of the screen.
Login will be completed if you click on "Login".

- Your Security Code Card will be reissued in case of loss. Please note that the card is sent to you by postal mail only.
- The Security Code Card is only used for the Internet banking and is not available to use for ATM.
