No. The service is free of charge. However, a transfer fee and other handling fees will be charged as is the case of Shinsei PowerDirect. You will also be charged access rates depending on your carrier.

It's 3 to 10 times depending on your account status. The number will be counted for each transaction whether it is made through Shinsei PowerDirect or Shinsei MobileDirect.

How do I register for Shinsei MobileDirect?

First, please register the number of the mobile phone(s) you want to use (up to three) via our Internet banking website (Shinsei PowerDirect) from your computer. Then access Shinsei MobileDirect from the mobile phone(s) and register your phone number to complete the registration. For the first login, you will be required to enter your branch number, account number, and security code card information.

What should I do if I can't log in to Shinsei MobileDirect to register my phone?

Please make sure that your branch number, account number, and PIN are all correct.
Also please check whether your mobile phone is set to notify your phone ID, which is necessary to verify your phone when you log in to Shinsei MobileDirect. Please see "

What should I do when transactions are cut off while being processed?

If a message like "transmission interrupted" appeared on the mobile screen or the battery ran out while a transaction was being processed, please log in to Shinsei MobileDirect again after you have a good reception or recharge the battery.
In such cases, your transaction may not be completed. So please make sure to check it in the "account inquiry" or "transfer inquiry" menu.

What if I get an error message, "the service is not available on Shinsei MobileDirect"?

The menu you chose is not available on Shinsei MobileDirect at present. Please use Shinsei PoswerDirect. Sorry for the inconvenience.
