What is an e-mail alert ?

A
E-mail alert is an alert notification service sent via e-mail which can be set up within online banking (Shinsei PowerDirect). You can register an e-mail address which you prefer e-mail alert to be sent.
E-mail alert will be sent for the following changes if you register for e-mail alert via Shinsei PowerDirect.
  • Alert e-mail address is registered, changed or deleted
  • Unsuccessful domestic fund transfers (Transfer error failed)
  • ATM/J-Debit limits change
  • Overseas ATM withdrawal
  • Domestic FT limits change
  • PowerYokin transfer limits changes to Yen savings deposit
  • PowerDirect password change
  • E-statement is updated
  • Campaign Entry, Re-entry, Cancellation (Only Entry customer)
* In case you receive an e-mail alert on your mobile phone, there may be certain models where Japanese message is displayed in unreadable characters. Should this happen, please read the English message below the Japanese message.
* E-mail may not be sent if an e-mail address contains adjacent dots (Ex, "..") or dot right before @ (Ex. ".@").

I am getting e-mail alert with unreadable characters. What should I do ?

In case you receive an e-mail alert on your mobile phone, there may be certain models where Japanese message is displayed in unreadable characters. Should this happen, please read the English message below the Japanese message.
