What is an e-mail alert ?

E-mail alert is an alert notification service sent via e-mail which can be set up within online banking (Shinsei PowerDirect). You can register an e-mail address which you prefer e-mail alert to be sent (it can be other than the e-mail addresses you have registered when opening account and for e-mail magazine).
E-mail alert will be sent for the following changes if you register for e-mail alert via Shinsei PowerDirect.
  1. Notice of fund transfer error
  2. ATM withdrawal / J-debit limit change
  3. PowerDirect password change
  4. E-mail alert address register / change
  5. Fund transfer limit change
  6. Limit change of transfers from PowerYokin to Yen savings account
For your safe dealings, we recommend you to register for e-mail alert.

How to register for e-mail alert via Shinsei PowerDirect.
* In case you receive an e-mail alert on your mobile phone, there may be certain models where Japanese message is displayed in unreadable characters. Should this happen, please read the English message below the Japanese message.
* E-mail may not be sent if an e-mail address contains adjacent dots (Ex, "..") or dot right before @ (Ex. ".@").

I am getting e-mail alert with unreadable characters. What should I do ?

In case you receive an e-mail alert on your mobile phone, there may be certain models where Japanese message is displayed in unreadable characters. Should this happen, please read the English message below the Japanese message.
