Yes, you can.


      How it works:
You can make withdrawals at overseas ATMs. Withdrawals will be automatically converted to the local foreign currency from your PowerFlex Yen savings account.
      Withdrawals:
In some cases, there will be charge for the use of some cash dispensers and ATMs.
      Exchange rates:
The exchange rate for the overseas withdrawal will be based on that applied by VISA International, with a 4% fee added.

* Please note that foreign citizens who will leave Japan (nonresidents of Japan) are required to close their account.

PowerFlex account customers can change their maximum daily ATM withdrawal amount via the following:
 
     Shinsei PowerDirect (24 hours a day, 365 days a year online banking)
     Shinsei PowerCall (24 hours a day, 365 days a year telephone banking) 1
Select 2 (for English) >> 7 (for change limits) >>2 (for change limits - operator assistance)

Your maximum withdrawal amount will be changed once processing has been completed.
 
1. Please note: To ensure the security of your account, when you telephone to change your maximum withdrawal amount, we may ask you a few questions to confirm your identity as the account holder. When increasing your maximum withdrawal amount, please ensure that you call from your registered phone number. For your security, we cannot accept calls from phone numbers other than those registered, or numbers which do not have the caller ID activated.
2. If you wish to withdraw more than 2,000,000 yen, please visit a Shinsei Financial Center.

2. Partner ATMs (domestic/ international) include the following: Domestic partner financial institutions, including all major Japanese city banks, 4 trust banks, Aozora Bank and Shoko Chukin bank. International partner financial institutions include those registered with the PLUS network (international cash service comprising a network of 1 million ATMs in 160 countries).
