Shinsei Bank to Change the Number of Online Free Fund Transfer Service

Eligible customers for Platinum services

We provide Platinum Services for the customer with minimum account balance in one of the products listed below.

  • (1) 3M Yen or more in the previous month's end assets invested in mutual funds, foreign currency or structured deposit *1
  • (2)20M Yen or more at the previous month end assets *2
  • (3)1Yen or more of housing loan balance.

Available period
Once the above criteria has been met, the service will be valid until April 2008.(except for special campaigns)

We offer special services for the platinum customer ,for example: special interest rate and an exchange fee discounts.

Overseas transfer commission 0Yen (once per month)
For Platinum customers 4000yen commission for overseas transfer is waived once per month.

  • *Beneficiary bank or intermediate bank may charge commission
  • *Transaction available only at the branch counter.

Free parking fee benefit
For the convenience of customers who stop by our branches between shopping and other errands, we have free parking vouchers for specified parking lots.

  • *Parking vouchers will cover the entire duration of the time required for your consultation in branch.

Membership salon “Platinum Center” in Ginza (Tokyo) and Umeda (Osaka)
Shinsei Platinum members can use the Platinum Center salon, a comfort available exclusively for the members.

  • *Only our Platinum customers and one accompanying guest at a time can use the salon.
  • *A reservation is required to use the salon. Please contact Shinsei PowerCall for details.

Membership platinum card
Shinsei Platinum members can receive the “Shinsei Platinum Card” (membership card) by choice, so that even smoother services can be provided at the branches. The card is proof of the special status of our Platinum customers.

Knowledge We will offer financial planning seminars on various topics.

Supporting service for consultation with a financial planner.
For customers who would like to have a consultation with an outside financial plannner,the bank will refer to one considering each customer's needs. Fees and charges for the first consultation will be partly paid by the bank.( This service for Japanese only)

  • *1 The PowerFlex account balance is calculated by deducting Yen deposits, Power Yokin, Yen time deposits, and debentures (within PowerFlex) from previous month end balance listed below (*2). However the amount of insurance products (individual annuity insurance and whole life insurance) is limited to up to 1.5M yen to include in the said account balance.
  • *2 The total balance of below assets in PowerFlex account, insurance products (individual annuity insurance and whole life insurance), and assets in brokerage account on a yen basis at the end of previous month.

About Platinum Services
• The Platinum Services are available for the customers who fulfill at least one of the following criteria;
Account balance of 20M Yen or more at the end of previous month (*1), Asset balance of the Bank-designated financial products with 3M Yen or more at the end of previous month (*2), or Outstanding housing loan balance of 1 yen or more as of the end of previous month.
*1 The total balance of below assets in PowerFlex account, insurance products (individual annuity insurance and whole life insurance), and assets in brokerage account on a yen basis at the end of previous month.

*2 1The PowerFlex account balance is calculated by deducting Yen deposits, Power Yokin, Yen time deposits, and debentures (within PowerFlex) from previous month end balance listed above (*1). •Once the one of above criteria has been met, the service will be valid from the 10th of the following month until April of the following year. (except for a limited-time campaign)
•We may change the conditions or revise services and the available period without announcement.
•Please confirm Platinum conditions, services and service period at the brochure. (Japanese only). Platinum customers will be provided the details of the Platinum Services.
