account of the deposited currency on maturity. |

interest |
Premium interest will be applied
only if the determined exchange rate, which Shinsei
Bank reasonably judges and determines to be the actual
rate between the deposited currency and Japanese yen
(yen/deposited currency) at 3 p.m. Tokyo time on the
determination date (two business days before the maturity
date, in principle ) falls within the specially agreed
range. If the exchange rate is outside the specially
agreed range, the ordinary interest will be applied. |

Interest will be credited into
Savings account of the deposited currency on the maturity. |
| 10.Interest calculation method |
Interest shall accrue on the
entire amount, and will be calculated on a 365-day a
year basis. |

Cancellation before Maturity is
not permitted. |

| 13. About exchange rate fluctuation |
The deposit may fall below your
original yen amount due to exchange rate fluctuation. |
| 14.Commission |
Our bank's prescribed exchange
rate (TTB / TTS) shall be applied for depositing and
withdrawing in yen. Therefore, the deposit may fall
below your original yen amount even without exchange
rate fluctuation. We take commission on foreign currency
