Partial change of Shinsei PowerFlex account overseas remittance service features

This is an advance notice regarding changes to certain features of the overseas remittance service function of Shinsei PowerFlex accounts.

From October 1, 2018, the following changes will be made:
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

(1) Overseas remittance reception time at the bank counter and call center.

  • Reception at the bank counter is possible after 3 p.m. however, when procedures are completed after 3 p.m., the funds will be transferred one day after the following Bank business day.

(2) Overseas holidays

(Before) Funds not sent on the same day on overseas holidays, but remitted the following business day.

(After) All remittances will be sent the following business day if processing is completed by 3 p.m.
In the event of overseas holidays, processing may take longer than usual.

(3) Currencies

(Before) 12 currencies available.

(After) Overseas remittances in Turkish Lira(TRY), South African Rand(ZAR), Norwegian Krone(NOK) will no longer be available.
However, incoming remittances in the above three currencies will still be accepted.

(4) Check issuing service

Checks will no longer be issued.
