Current initiatives within the Institutional Group are based on efforts to meet our customers’ changing needs. For example, we are leveraging our global relationships with leading asset management companies to deliver advanced, unique investment products to both institutional and retail customers and to provide a wide range of investment advice to investors. We also continue to expand our capital markets businesses. This effort includes developing increased capacity and scale at Shinsei Securities Co., Ltd., a subsidiary company of Shinsei Bank.
