Regarding Companies Whose Names Contain “Shinsei” but Have No Relationship with Shinsei Bank
Recently, there have been reports of companies whose names contain “Shinsei”, or a similar name to Shinsei Bank, selling unsecured and conventional loans by direct mail and telephone. Following is a list of such companies, including their names in Japanese. Please be informed that Shinsei Bank and our affiliates have no relationship with the following companies (as of June 5, 2007).

In some cases, they use a corporate logo similar to that of The Shinsei Bank
Group in their direct mail and describe themselves as if they were in our Group.
