Shigeru Kani, Director (outside director)

Shigeru Kani became a Director on June 24, 2004. Since April 2006, Mr. Kani has also been Professor of Yokohama College of Commerce. Previously he was an Advisor of NEC Corporation from April 2002 to March 2006. He was affiliated with the Bank of Japan beginning in April 1966, acting as a Director of Administration Department from May 1996 to April 1999. He was also Executive Managing Director of the Tokyo Stock Exchange from May 1999 to 2002. (As of June 25, 2008)
