Thierry Porté became our President and Chief Executive Officer on June 24, 2005. He joined Shinsei as Vice Chairman and Corporate Executive Officer in November 2003 and from June 24. 2004 he served as our Director, Representative Statutory Executive Officer and Vice Chairman. Mr. Porté was affiliated with Morgan Stanley from 1979 to 2003, most recently acting as the President, Representative Director and Branch Manager of Morgan Stanley Japan Limited.
