To Customers who wish to suspend their use of the services of cash card, debit card, Shinsei PowerDirect, and overdraft facility

If your purpose of banking with Shinsei is to receive a consulting service only and you wish to suspend a cash card service, or if you are not going to use an Internet banking service and wish to suspend its service, the customers may suspend such services as ATM, Internet banking, etc. by giving prior notice to the Bank via Shinsei PowerCall.

Services you can suspend or make unavailable:

1. Cash card service
   ATM transactions at all ATMs nationwide and worldwide; Shinsei Bank, Seven Bank, Yucho Bank, such other ATM-tie-up financial institutions as city banks, trust banks etc. and Plus network member banks
2. Debit card service
   All J-DEBIT transactions
3. Shinsei PowerDirect (Internet banking)
   Access capability to Shinsei PowerDirect: All internet banking services including account balance inquiry and transaction verification
4. Overdraft service*
   Deposit-secured or Debenture-secured overdraft services

How to apply for suspension of service:

Requests shall be accepted at Shinsei PowerCall at 0120-456-007* only when they are made by an account holder.

How to reinstate the service you suspended:

Requests shall be accepted at Shinsei PowerCall at 0120-456-007 only when they are made by an account holder, via phone number registered with Shinsei. Further, please have a caller ID display enable.

Please note the following before applying for suspension of services.

1. • a) When your account is overdrawn, you are not allowed to apply for suspension of the overdraft service. When you fully repaid the amount overdrawn but still owe the Bank interests on the overdrawn amount, you are not allowed to apply for suspension of the overdraft service.
   • b) You are not allowed to apply for suspension of the use of overdraft service on the day when you have opened an account. Please apply on the day after you have opened your account.
2. Those who suspended the use of overdraft service are not allowed to withdraw from an account exceeding the available balance, even if they have savings or debenture available for collateral.
