APLUS CO., Ltd. was established in 1956 as the Osaka Credit Sales Corporation and changed its name to the Daishinpan Corporation in 1978. Since then branches were opened throughout Japan; and in 1984 it was listed on the first section of the Osaka Stock Exchange.

In 1992 the company was renamed APLUS CO., Ltd. which expresses its determination to "develop business beyond the best."

APLUS CO., Ltd.'s core businesses are: shopping credit, such as credit for cars, household furnishings, etc; card operations for credit cards; and consumer credit, providing total financial services for individual customers. Focusing on these areas, APLUS CO., Ltd. is working on the solution business in order to meet various customers' needs.
