1.  Deposit may be made from Japanese Yen Savings Account only, and you are to choose the foreign currency you want to deposit in. Currency exchange fee is 1 yen except for Sterling pounds , for exchanging one way (2 yens if both ways) if the exchange involves Japanese Yen. If the exchange involves 2 different foreign currencies other than yen, 0.01 or 0.02 is multiplied by one of the foreign currencies. Different fees will be applied on weekends and holidays.
You may not cancel PowerSupportPlus before maturity.
If currency switch is made during the deposit, different interest will be applied according to remaining term. Please confirm with Shinsei PowerCall(0120-456-007) for details
Foreign currency in cash is not available.
Interest rate is stated on a before-tax basis, and it is subject to 20% withholding tax.
Foreign currency deposit may fall below your original yen amount due to exchange loss resulting from exchange rate fluctuation.
Deposits and withdrawals in yen shall be applied the exchange rate designated by our bank. Therefore, the deposit may fall below your original yen amount even without exchange rate fluctuation.
Foreign currency deposit is not covered by Deposit Insurance.
Foreign currency time deposit cannot be cancelled before maturity.

2.  About Home Mortgage: Interest is as of September 1, 2008 and is effective for contracts drawn up by September, 2008. We may stop handling this product depending on the economic situation etc. Applicable interest rate at borrowing applies throughout the loan term. No guarantee fee. Group life insurance fee is included. Overdraft function PowerPocket service is not available.
3.  OS: Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000. Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher. This service is maintained by Microsoft and is not directly provided by Shinsei Bank. Therefore, Shinsei Bank accept no responsibility as to the quality or performance, and, thereby, shall not be held liable for problems arising from this service. The customer shall exercise independent judgment and responsibility in making decisions in the use of this safety scanner service.
* We mainly provide services in Japanese at the branches. There are some branches with English speaking staffs, but not always available. Please visit our branch with someone who can understand Japanese if you have concerns about communication. Thank you for your understanding.
